This is a very important part of Frame Settings:

Frame has a range of permission options that let you control which groups can do what in your Frame. You can invite members or admins, and then restrict different activities to different groups.

Once people get their Frame set up, a common next step is to restrict who can Edit the Frame to prevent future edits. Another common move is to restrict viewing permissions to only invited members or admins.

  • Frame Creators can do it all. They can also add Admins and decide if Admins can add other Admins
  • Creators/Admins can mute everyone's mics, adjust Frame settings, clear chat history, delete individual chat messages, change environments, boot users, use the web browsers, and delete the Frame
  • Editing Permission: can add, modify, or delete assets, change scenes, and use webcam/screen share.
  • Interacting Permission can interact with content like change pdf pages, expand photospheres, and play/pause media.
  • Viewing Permission: can connect to the Frame, use voice chat/text chat, create an avatar, and move around.
  • Speaking Permission: can use their microphone
  • Camera Permission: can use their webcam or screen share
  • Photosphere Permission: can expand or close a 360 photo / photosphere. Default settings here are as per Interaction Permissions.
  • Emoji Permission: can blast Frame emoji out of their avatar

The domains drop-down lets you add accepted domains if you only want people logged in with a certain domain in their email address to be able to connect to your Frame. Just set your approved domains, then set Viewing Permissions to domain.
